Application
The square plansifter has been designed for the siftingand grading of mealy and floury products in wheat, rye,maize (corn), and durum mills as well as for the sorting ofdifferent granular products and freeflowing granulates.

Sifting capacity
The higher dynamic acceleration improves the siftingaction. The high sifting efficiency allows milling capacitiesup to 180 metric tons daily using a single 10-compartmentplansifter.

Sanitation

All the inside walls as well as the doors are provided withhigh-grade insulation, which prevents condensation. Allcomponents in contact with the product are consistentlymade of stainless steel or synthetic material. Using stain-less steel and eliminating screw fasteners in the individualcompartments ensures high and reliable product safety.

The patented, automatic reclamping system with itsintegrated clamping force checking device ensures thatthe sieve stack will remain permanently clamped with aconstant force, thereby preventing product cross-con-tamination and the escape of dust.

Modularity

Available capacities cover a wide range, from the family'ssmallest-the handy 2-compartment - to the compact4-,6-,8-,or 10-compartment sifters offering a solutiontailored to the individual specific needs. The modularconcept allows the number of modules to be adjustedas required even at a later date. The plansifter is easyto install and may, if dictated by the available space, beshipped in the form of small modules of 90 by 90 centi-meters, which is very beneficial if the plansifter is installedin tight building spaces.
