How Does the Grading Destoner Work?

The grading destoner operates through a two-step cleaning process: grading and destoning.

This grading destoner is an efficient, high-capacity grain cleaning machine. First, it separates the grain into a high-density fraction and a mixed fraction. The mixed fraction is then moved to the next stage of the milling process. Meanwhile, the high-density fraction is reprocessed in the destoner to remove impurities such as stones, metal, and glass from the grain.

The grading destoner can clean various types of grains, including wheat, barley, corn, rye, oats, and rice. It also offers a wide capacity range, processing between 10 and 28 tons of wheat per hour.

An optional MANW recirculating air separator can be installed to reduce energy consumption by up to 30% by returning filtered air to the process. The recirculating air separator operates in conjunction with the micro-recirculation air system, central filtration system, and aspiration system to save space and lower investment costs. Additionally, it helps reduce maintenance work and downtime by effectively removing finer particles from the air.
